I'm a fan of evangelion, I've seen the series, end of evangelion and rebuild. I personally prefer the older stuff, rebuild just gets too bizarre (even for this series) and if you thought the creepy shit was bad in end of evangelion, there's ridiculous amount of creepy fanservice in the rebuild movies. But of course it is up to you what you want to watch, I just wanted to give you my opinion as someone who's seen all of it

You said "anything", so here's my opinion of Evangelion. I don't like End of Evangelion. I think the series ended on a much more conclusive note. End of Evangelion was so depressing and was essentially a middle finger to fans, essentially saying "you wanted this", so they got a gross-ass scene with Shinji "discovering himself" over Asuka's comatose body, and a ludicrous epic scene with all this fake-deep religious bullshit. Also, I adore the Rebuild movies. They're what got me into the series.

 I liked the series a lot when I was younger but as I got older I was like wow it is kinda just really fake deep. I thought that movie was ok. I haven’t really seen the rebuild movies?
